Tom Nolan is a senior process control consultant at Emerson (Email: tom.nolan@emerson.com) with over 29 years of state-based control and advanced regulatory control experience. He has designed and implemented state-based control for green- and brownfield projects, as well as optimization projects. He served as the process control and advanced control and optimization leader for the Epoxy and Chlorohydrins Technology Centers. While there, he developed and implemented a methodology to evaluate process control investments to create process control and optimization plans that substantially improve economics, safety, and risk reduction. Nolan graduated from Ohio Univ. with a BS in chemical engineering.
