Tracy received her Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada, and her Ph.D. from McMaster University (Hamilton, Canada). She joined DuPont in 2000, hiring directly into the Dynamic Simulation, Control and Optimization group in DuPont’s central Engineering organization. In her early years at DuPont, she worked on advanced process and quality control implementations in DuPont’s white pigments business, and helped establish multivariate statistics as a group competency. In 2005, she transitioned into dynamic simulation, with a focus on the specialty polymers businesses. Most recently, she has developed a competency in fermentation and bio-process operation and modelling, and been assigned to several pre-commercialization efforts in DuPont. In 2014, in addition to her role as a leveraged consultant, she took over leadership of the DuPont™ TMODS Development team.
