Troy is the Membrane Technology Leader for Hazen and Sawyer, an environmental engineering firm focused on water and wastewater treatment. Born and raised in Australia, Troy has 20 years of water treatment experience with specific expertise in membrane technology for water recycling and seawater desalination applications. He conducted process design and commissioning during the early adoption stage of hollow fiber membrane microfiltration technology to the drinking water, wastewater, and recycling markets across Australia, South East Asia, and the United States, including landmark work in the development of an indirect potable reuse scheme in Singapore.
Previous to his current role, Troy was the Technical Director for Veolia Water’s Australian and New Zealand Operations, supporting among others the operation of large membrane water recycling and seawater desalination plants.
He has a Bachelor’s of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.
