Will recently rejoined Savannah River National Laboratory in Oct 2018 as a Sr Fellow Program Manager. He is currently responsible for SRNL’s transportation R&D activities including hydrogen fuel cell and battery electric activities. Will has managed a diverse set of transportation-related projects that cover lithium ion battery development and recycling, vehicle light weighting, and R&D program that supported the development of safety, codes, and standards for fuel cell and hydrogen technologies. The latter required signification domestic and international harmonization efforts to promote commercialization including local, state, and federal agencies. Will holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech and a BS degree from the University of South Carolina Columbia.
