Dr. Xiaomin Dou received his Ph.D. degree from the Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China in 2006. He is presently an associate professor at the College of Environmental Science and Engineering, Beijing Forestry University, China. His recent research interests include pretreating pharmaceutical wastewater through physical-chemical methods, converting biomass to value-added functional materials, and mitigating hazardous ions (As, F and Sb, etc.) from water. He has published 57 peer-reviewed scientific papers on the above-mentioned fields with more than 2400 citations.
