Xinrui Cai completed her undergraduate studies in Chemical Engineering at University College London (UCL) and is currently pursuing a PhD degree within the same department. With a profound fascination for interfacial adsorption and crystal growth on a molecular scale, she has directed her research endeavours towards unravelling the intricacies of these phenomena. Her ongoing project focuses on delving into the fundamental mechanism behind hydrate formation while considering the influence of additives. Employing the power of Molecular Dynamics (MD) simulations, she aims to shed light on this complex process, thereby contributing to our broader comprehension of hydrate-based carbon capture & storage technology.
