Xue Li is a Scientist II at International Flavors and Fragrances (IFF), Advanced Analytical Taste & Scent Department, located in Union Beach, New Jersey, IFF global R&D headquarter. Since joining IFF in 2016, Xue’s main responsibility is to provide analytical and material characterization support to investigate IFF products in consumer goods. Since 2019, Xue has established workflow to purify scent delivery systems for biodegradation investigation and assist with detailed characterization of various scent delivery systems. Her research area also focuses on providing analytical evidence to support regulatory compliance of scent delivery products.
Prior to joining IFF, Xue was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Johns Hopkins University and Lehigh University. Before that, she received her Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering from The City College of New York in 2014. Her Ph.D. work and postdoctoral research focuses on colloidal stability and interfacial science.
