
Dr. Arnold, Medical Director at Integra LifeSciences, possesses substantial expertise in product development, clinical research, business strategies, operations and cross-functional leadership. She has over 15 years of industrial experience in regenerative medicine and translational biomanufacturing research, specializing in cell- and tissue-based strategies for wounds, sports medicine and orthopedics. She has authored numerous publications and book chapters, and is an inventor on four U.S. patents. Having worked at a number of regenerative medicine companies such as Kinetic Concepts, Inc. (now a part of 3M) and Osiris Therapeutics (now a part of Smith & Nephew), she also gained detailed understanding of processes and standards for FDA regulations, intellectual property, and reimbursement issues for medical devices. Dr. Arnold holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering, a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering and received her postdoc training at Yale and Columbia University, working under the guidance of Dr. Gordana Vunjak-Novakovic. Dr. Arnold currently resides in Ellicott City, MD with her husband and two girls. She loves to run marathons in her spare time and is excited to have finished the Berlin Marathon last year and qualified the Boston Marathon in 2021.
