Zahra received her B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, Iran, in 2016. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering in Auburn University under the supervision of Dr. Virginia Davis and Dr. David M. Blersch. Her research interests include attached algal cultivation systems, algae cell-surface interactions, surface thermodynamics, polymer composites, additive manufacturing.
