
Dr. Hossain attended Brandeis University as a Wien Scholar and received his B.S. in Biology and Biochemistry. He earned his Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine from the University of Maryland under the Graduate Partnerships Program (GPP) with the National Institutes of Health (NIH). He completed his postdoctoral training at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine where he identified novel DNA-damaging polyphenols in foods and flavorings. He brings extensive knowledge of molecular, cancer and stem cell biology, epigenetics and immunology, as well as teaching experience as an Associate Professor at Brac University. As a Technical Application Scientist with MilliporeSigma, Dr. Hossain leads research application projects, conducts technical seminars and workshops, and supports cutting-edge tech platforms in the genome editing space.
