59th Annual Coates Award Banquet (May 2016)

This year, the AIChE Baton Rouge chapter had the pleasure of honoring Brandon P. Lithgoe, P.E., Senior Environmental Engineer at Williams Olefins, Geismar, LA, at Ashley Manor and thoroughly enjoyed his presentation on "The Baton Rouge Ozone Problem". 50-year AIChE memberships were also celebrated for Sam Bergeron, Joseph Dalferes, John Earle, Charles Perilloux, and Adolph Peterson. Our annual George Lappin Scholarship for an outstanding LSU Junior chemical engineer was presented to Garrett Lambert, while our annual Best Dissertation award was presented Dr. Aryan Geraili for the dissertation: "A Comprehensive Optimization Framework for Designing Sustainable Renewable Energy Production Systems". Congratulations to all the chapter award recipients!
