The Climate Solutions Community will hold a facilitated workshop at the 2019 AIChE Spring Meeting — which will be the official launch of the community.
Workshop Details:
- Who: Stakeholders within the chemical, fuels, and power production and all interested in learning more about TCSC
- What: Facilitated, interactive workshop to discuss climate-change issues that chemical engineers are uniquely qualified to solve. Presentations and a panel discussion will be followed by small-group breakout sessions.
- Objectives:
- Debut TCSC to the broad science and engineering community
- Identify climate-change issues that chemical engineers are uniquely qualified to solve; this will serve as guidance for the chemical engineering community.
In addition to the workshop, we also plan to hold several “virtual” webcasts throughout 2019 to allow for additional engagement in our developing efforts.
