If so, consider starting a Young Professionals (YP) Group and Local Section. These groups aim to bring chemical engineers together and bring the benefits of being a global AIChE member to you wherever you are.
Recently the Young Professionals Committee conducted a webinar reviewing in depth what a YP Group is, and offered suggestions and best practices of how to successfully launch one. Check out the webinar here
