Devin received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering in 2018 at Carnegie Mellon University, where he was an NSF Fellow. His advisor was Larry Biegler, and his thesis was “Advances in Nonlinear Model Predictive Control for Large-Scale Chemical Process Systems”. After graduating, Devin joined Dow where he implemented real-time optimization applications, including power scheduling and site-wide optimization projects. Devin is currently a senior product manager at AspenTech for Aspen Hybrid Models.
