2023 Annual Meeting - NSEF Highlights

Dear Area 22 (NSEF) participants,

Area 22 Nanoscale Science and Engineering Forum (NSEF) has an exciting program, starting on Sunday, Nov. 5, 2023, with the Bionanotechnology (Area 22B) plenary session till Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2023, ending with Nanomaterials for Energy Conversion in Area 22C. We would like to bring to your attention the following special events in NSEF:

1. NSEF Plenary Session

Our Plenary Session will be held on Monday, November 6, 2023, 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM at Discovery 43 (Mezzanine Level, Hyatt Regency Orlando) featuring:

Prof. Delia Milliron from UT Austin and Prof. Piran Kidambi from Vanderbilt.

Please attend as your schedule permits and feel free to advertise the session and invite your colleagues and students to attend as well.

2. NSEF Reception & Awards Presentation

Our NSEF Reception & Awards Presentation will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM at Bayhill 24 (Lobby Level, Hyatt Regency Orlando) featuring:

3. NSEF Programming Meeting

In-person: our Programming Meeting will be held on Monday, November 6, 2023, starting at 10:45 AM in Discovery 44 (Mezzanine Level, Hyatt Regency Orlando)

Virtually: If you cannot attend the meeting in-person you may attend virtually via Zoom here.

If you or any of your colleagues would like to get involved in Area 22 activities, participate as chair or co-chair or would like to propose new sessions for AIChE 2024 Annual Meeting (Oct. 27 – Nov. 1, 2024, San Diego) please join the meeting. If you cannot attend the meeting but you are interested in participating, please send me an email.

During the meeting we will discuss next year’s programming, potential addition of new roles within Area 22. Please contact us if you are interested in the role or nominate yourself or a colleague during our programming meeting.
