The AIChE® CRE Mentoring program connects graduate students with members of the AIChE CRE community from industry, academia, and national labs as mentors based on students’ career aspirations and personal and professional interests. The goal is to cultivate new relationships, provide support, and accelerate the personal and professional development of students in the field of CRE.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
• Mentors and mentees must have AIChE CRE membership to be eligible (exception: first-year graduate students).
• Mentors and mentees must fill out the mentor/mentee survey and mentor/mentee agreement form.
Time Commitment:
We recommend meeting 2-4 times in a year including an in-person Meet & Greet session at AIChE Annual Meeting. However, we do not have a requirement for the number or frequency of meetings for mentors and mentees. We leave it up to mentors/mentees to figure out what works the best and what is needed to achieve the student’s goals.
