[April 9, 2025] During the 2025 AIChE Spring Meeting in Dallas, Texas, the MGMT division honored Dr. Dhaval Bhandari as the MGMT Young Leader Award recipient at a special session, recognizing his outstanding leadership and contributions to the industry and management of technical talent during his tenure with General Electric and ExxonMobil. Dhaval organized a session highlighting the role of chemical engineers in leading the energy transition. Complementing his presentation on navigating the development of lower emission fuels for marine decarbonization, Prof. William Koros (Georgia Tech), his PhD advisor, talked about Carbon Molecular Sieve membranes and Surinder Singh shared his experience in building a venture-funded climate tech company.
