Engineering Smart Materials Stimuli Responsive Fluids Gels and Capsules

It’s now possible to engineer fluids and soft materials that show dramatic changes in their properties when exposed to external stimuli. What are the principles behind the engineering? Learn more.

In 60 minutes, Dr. Srinivasa Raghavan will discuss how stimuli-responsive fluids, gels and capsules change when exposed to external stimuli such as temperature, pH, magnetic fields, electric fields and light. You’ll gain an understanding of the principles behind the engineering of such materials. And, you’ll go inside the research lab to see examples. Don’t miss this webinar, especially if you’re working in the consumer products, cleaning products, paints and coatings, pharmaceuticals, or agrochemicals industry.

Take a look at your agenda:

  • What are smart materials?
  • Basic engineering principles underlying smart materials
  • How stimuli-responsive materials enable innovation
  • Examples straight from the research lab
