End of Summer Family Picnic

Detroit AIChE is hosting a picnic at Pier Park in Grosse Pointe Farms.  It is open to members and their immediate families (spouse/significant other and children).  It will be limited to 60 guests ages 8 and over.  Under 8 years old, unlimited! :) 

RSVP required: eventbrite invite or email detroitaiche@gmail.com, please include all names of attendees 8 years old and older

Please bring with you:

• Swimsuits & towels
• Sunscreen
• Tennis Rackets
• Coolers (recommended and there will be wagons near the entrance that can be used to transport your stuff to the picnic shelter)
• Beverages and snacks/side dishes for your family. (Hamburgers and hot dogs will be provided along with charcoal for the grills.  If you desire a different meat, bring it to grill.)
• Lounge chairs
• A lock for the lockers in the pool changing area if you plan on leaving your stuff in a locker while swimming.

The park has a splash pad and kiddie pool for young ones.  A lap pool with diving board and a shallow section for kids.  There are tennis & volleyball courts and a beach full of sand!

We will have a covered picnic area where we can stay out of the sun!
