Join us at Coal Vines on June 16th at 6pm for the final speaker in our 3-part speaker series (April 21st, May 19th, and June 16th) on the topic of "Energy R&D: Capture, Permit, Control".
This month, we host Bill Tatum, the North American Sales Manager for Pentair Actuation and Controls. He will be discussing advancements in valve monitoring and control by using transmitters in place of switches. He will also discuss Pentair's newest ESD/PST (Emergency Shut Down / Partial Stroke Test) solutions which are more reliable and precise than previous iterations. We hope to see you all there for this great presentation!
Here's what you get for attending:
- Learning! Bill Tatum presents on how power plants control their emissions and various control systems that Pentair supplies.
- Food! You get appetizers (meatballs and bread-y things last month), salad, many different types of gourmet pizza, pasta, and a cash bar is also available. That's tons of food for just the price of dues.
- PDH Credits! You can also get PDH credits for attending this presentation.
All of that for just the meeting dues is a crazy good deal. Dues for each of the speaker series meetings are only $5 for AIChE KC members and $10 for nonmembers. Are you an intern here for the summer? You can attend for free! Please definitely make sure to still use the RSVP link, even if you have already paid for all three or if you are an intern.
The meeting will be located in the Wine Vault right next to Coal Vines, which is accessible off of Jefferson Street. We'd recommend parking in the Bank of America garage just down Jefferson Street near Nichols Road.
