Born out of a member’s suggestion, we bring you a members, friends, and family oriented Saturday picnic event. We request the pleasure of your company in a relaxed, beautifully wooded setting equipped for your enjoyment. Leave your chairs, blankets, cooler, and the trunk full of items you usually carry to a picnic, at home!! River Falls Club has plenty of tables & chairs (indoor & outdoor), and umbrellas for shade (outdoor). NCS will supply mostly homemade food, so rest assured we’ll do the cooking. Bring just yourself, your guests (and your swimsuit/towel/sunscreen, and tennis racquet/balls or basketball if you wish), and get ready for some fun!! The outdoor activities are optional, and you can simply relax outdoors after lunch if you prefer.

Please RSVP at www.ncspicnicsummer.eventbrite.com by Wednesday August 19, to allow adequate food planning. Space is limited to 39 persons, so we encourage you to sign up early. Electronic prepayment is required to guarantee and complete your reservation.

Parking and Directions
River Falls Clubhouse has a free parking lot, and there is free street parking on Horseshoe Lane. Driving from I-495 Capital Beltway – Exit 41 onto Clara Barton Parkway West toward Carderock, MD. At first traffic light make left onto Macarthur Boulevard. At next traffic light make right onto Brickyard Rd. Turn left onto Horseshoe Lane. River Falls Clubhouse is on left.
Driving from Washington, DC - Take M St NW to Canal Road to Clara Barton Parkway West. At the end of Clara Barton Parkway at the traffic light, make left onto Macarthur Boulevard. At next traffic light make right onto Brickyard Rd. Turn left onto Horseshoe Lane. River Falls Clubhouse is on left.
