Each year, with the generous sponsorship of the ExxonMobil Research and Engineering Company, AIChE-NCS presents an award to an outstanding student at each of our local universities' chemical engineering programs, Howard University and the University of Maryland, College Park. Two upcoming events have been scheduled to honor this year's recipients at the University of Maryland and Howard University, respectively. Members of NCS and their guests are invited to attend.

When: 6:30pm, September 20, 2017 (Wednesday)
Where: 2460 AV Williams Building, University of Maryland, College Park, MD

Parking: There are many parking lots on campus that one can park after 4pm, but read the signs carefully to avoid being ticketed. After 4pm, you may park for free in Lot 9 which is along Paint Branch Drive.  Paint Branch Visitor Lot is across from AV Williams Building, but it has pay meter effective until midnight.  Campus map: http://www.maps.umd.edu/map

Registration fee: free.  Dinner is generously donated by ExxonMobil.  

Menu: Items catered by Sardis include: Rotisserie Chicken, Kabobs, Ravioli Rose, Fried Rice, Garden Salad, Dinner Rolls, Cookies, Beverages.
