"We shall eat grass but have our bomb", pronounced by Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Pakistan's Prime Minister, after India's "peaceful" nuclear explosion in 1974. As we all know, there is no peaceful nuclear explosion. Why would a relatively impoverished and backward nation like Pakistan, and later, North Korea, (GDP's of $1,500 and $1,800 respectively), embark on a quest to have nuclear weapons? Attendees of this meeting will find out in an interesting and informative case study discussion.
Attendees will earn 1 PDH of continuing education credit.
