For both chemists and chemical engineers beyond the bachelors degree, one of the first major career decisions is whether to continue on in academia or to pursue opportunities in industry.
This panel will bring together working chemists and chemical engineers who have pursued doctorates in their respective disciplines and/or professional engineering licensure. We will discuss some of the watch-outs and career tips when in the early stages of either path and we'll hear personal stories about how the panelists' respective choices contributed to their current career growth.
