Join us for an educational evening centered around two Bay Area Chemical Engineering faculty members. Drs. Rosenfeld and Cargnello will share their scholarly interests and research advancements with the group - get ready for a night of learning and networking!
Liat Rosenfeld, Ph.D.
Dr. Rosenfeld is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at San Jose State University (SJSU). Dr. Rosenfeld's research and scholarly interests include microscale transport phenomena for applications such as microfluidic-based biosensors, artificial placentas, and digital devices. Dr. Rosenfeld currently serves as the instructor for Unit Operations and Transport Phenomena at SJSU.
Matteo Cargnello, Ph.D.
Dr. Cargnello is an Assistant Professor and Terman Faculty Fellow in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Stanford University. Dr. Cargnello's research group focuses on the preparation and use of uniform and tailored materials for heterogeneous catalysis and photocatalysis and the technological exploitation of nanoparticles and nanocrystals. Dr. Cargnello currently serves as the instructor for Separation Processes at Stanford University.
