Join The Local Northern California Section
The Northern California section of AIChE serves the Chemical Engineering community in the greater Bay Area. Our members are a diverse group, employed in multiple industries and active in all facets of Chemical Engineering. NorCal is among the largest of all local AIChE sections. San Francisco is a recurring venue for the AIChE Annual meeting. We have members that have recently graduated and members who have retired after long and productive careers in Chemical Engineering. We are engaged in many activities, including student outreach through our High School and College Awards, recognition of member achievement through our Professional Progress Awards and Chemical Engineering Excellence Awards. We support National initiatives such as Sustainability and Young Professionals. NorCal also educates our members and facilitates dialogues among members through monthly dinner meetings and our annual Symposium each Spring.
We have ~1,500 National AIChE members living in the NorCal area who have not yet joined our local section. We encourage all members in the vicinity of the San Francisco Bay Area to join NorCal AIChE.
If you are a national AIChE member already who has not yet joined our local section but would like to, we welcome you.
Please PAY NOW for membership in the local section.
The fee for local membership is $30.
Also, if you are not a member of the national AIChE organization, you can still join the local section without joining National AIChE for up to 2 years.
