The Ohio State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Surveyors requires Engineers in Ohio to earn two hours in the area of ethics or laws and rules during each renewal period (every two years). This webinar will provide 1 PDH focused on ethics.
“Ethical Strategies for an Irrational World” focuses on the hazards of hidden biases in our profession. In this one-hour online course, you’ll learn about these hidden biases such as the “optimism bias,” and explore the intersection of behavioral economics and your ethical obligations as a professional. You’ll also learn about the external forces that could impact your decision-making skills and how to combat them.
