Facility Details:
The new jet fuel facility at Lambert International Airport in St. Louis improves reliability, resilience and fueling safety for airlines. Three above-ground tanks store up to 1 million gallons each, and five external fuel pumps deliver jet fuel to the terminal at 1,200 gallons per minute. Burns & McDonnell designed and built the facility, which began operating in February 2021. Additionally, the aging infrastructure at the former fueling facility was demolished and the site was remediated in 2021 and 2022.
