We’ll explore Energy and the Downstream Value chain: Then AND Now, including:
- Energy evolution and transformation over the past 100 years.
- How Downstream industries, especially chemicals, have evolved
- What it takes for individuals (especially chemical engineers!) and companies to be successful in evolving markets.

Pre-dinner Energy Forum (5:30-6:30)
(1 PDH Credit) - "Decarbonizing the Process Industries III"
Abstract
Decarbonization has become an ESG (environmental, social and governance) priority for the process industries. Energy efficiency is an important component in any decarbonization strategy, but many other technologies have a part to play, too. In our Spring Energy Forum, with the help of industry leaders and subject matter experts, we focus on use of electric motors as a key component of electrification, and carbon capture in two different types of processes – ethylene production and power generation.
