Victoria, local chemical engineers, and some students from the University of Delaware will be available to answer questions and interact with students
Agenda
- 6:00-6:15 – Students arrive and sign in, pick up handouts
- 6:15-6:30 - Ice breaker activity
- 6:30-7:00 – Presentation by Victoria Muir on chemical engineering
- 7:00-7:45 – Panel discussion with chemical engineers
- 7:45-8:00 – Closing remarks
- 8:00-8:30 - Continued one-on-one discussions of students with engineers
- 8:30 - Adjourn
Location
The Seminar will be held at the Administration Building for the Hempfield School District located at 200 Church Street, Landisville, PA 17538. Enter in the front doors that are facing Church Street. Parking is available around the building and high school parking lots near the Administration Building.
Requirements for Attendance
All students attending grades 9-12 are welcome. Parents and Teachers are also welcome. A Seminar Attendance Form (see link below) must be completed and submitted by mail or email by January 22, 2025.
