Ed Chescattie of PA DEP will give us a presentation on Safe Drinking Water Response to a Large Chemical Fire.

 

Speaker Bio:

Ed Chescattie is the Environmental Program Manager for the Division of Training, Technical and Financial Services in the Bureau of Safe Drinking Water, PA DEP. The division develops and delivers training, technical assistance and outreach programs to maximize public health protection, protect the environment, and achieve and maintain compliance with federal and state regulations. Division staff administer the Drinking Water and Wastewater Operator Certification Program to strengthen the knowledge, skills and abilities of system operators. Ed has been with PA DEP for over twenty-two years and is a certified drinking water and wastewater treatment plant operator.

Meeting Details:

The meeting will be held at Hershey’s Technical Center in Hershey. Please note you will need to read, sign and complete the enclosed “Visitor Acknowledgement - Training and Compliance” NDA form and email it to - Ashley Hudak at ahudak@hersheys.com when you RSVP. Upon arrival at the Tech Center, use the side employee entrance, ring the buzzer to be let in, sign in with security (organization is AIChE and Ashley Hudak is the person you are meeting).  You will then receive a visitor's badge and be directed to the Tech Center Cafe. Parking is free.

Schedule:

  • 5:15 – 5:45 pm Arrival and Networking (please arrive by 5:30 pm)
  • 5:45 – 6:30 pm Introductions and Dinner (assorted sandwiches and salads from Panera Bread)
  • 6:30 – 7:30 pm Presentation and Q&A
