The last week of this month is Engineers Week! (http://www.discovere.org/our-programs/engineers-week) Each year, our organization, in conjunction with the E-Week committee, participates in setting up and running an Egg Drop Competition at local area intermediate schools.
Please consider joining us in the Egg Drop Competition this year. Our volunteers are what make the Egg Drop Competition a success! As a volunteer, you will tell the students a little about what it's like being an engineer and then guide them through the competition. There will be a volunteer coordinating the competition for the day that can answer any questions you have, or you can send questions to the E-Week Committee Chair, Kaytlin Henry, at kmhenry@dow.com
To volunteer, please sign-up with this sheet, available in a shared Google document:

We will visit 5 schools over the course of E-Week and reach over 600 8th graders. Feel free to participate as much as you are able--we usually ask that folks consider signing up for two adjacent sessions. Volunteers will also receive $5 off our Engineers Week banquet.
Let's help the students discover how fun engineering can be!
