Graduating seniors often need help navigating the transition from AIChE student member to finding their professional home in the Institute. As classes fade and new jobs offer fresh experiences, it is important to have an AIChE local section that can offer mentoring, training, career advice, and friendship in your new professional position.
This program will cover what is a local section, how to find your local section, ways to get involved, or even how to get a local section started in your area. It will also cover an introduction to AIChE as a professional organization.
Moderated by Virtual Local Section YP Chairman Shubharthi Barau & VLS Membership Chairman Experience Nduagu, this will feature panelists Brian Daly (South Texas LS and AIChE Local Sections Committee Chairman), James "Brandon" Hochenstrasser (Young Professionals Committee), and Monica Stowe (AIChE Staff).
There will be some PRIZES (gift cards!) as prizes for lucky attendees!
