January Meeting: Horsehead Metal Products

In Mooresboro, NC, commissioning crews are preparing to bring a new $490 million Zinc production facility to life.  Come join us at our next meeting to hear Kendall Oliphant, Senior Process Engineer at Horsehead, present an overview of the operation strategies and technology that will be implemented at the new facility.

Prior to joining the Horsehead team in November 2012, Kendall Oliphant was a metallurgist in the copper mining industry in Arizona, where he specialized in solvent extraction and electrowinning technology.  He has a BS degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Utah, and an MBA from Brigham Young University.
