October is our annual meeting with the Clemson Student Chapter of AIChE at Clemson University
We welcome Lee Rich, Vice President of Engineering and Operations for Fulcrum BioEnergy. Lee will present about a process tested and proven by Fulcrum that uses thermochemical processing to convert municipal solid waste (MSW) into Fischer-Tropsch liquids. The process uses existing technologies to synthesize the FT liquids: Steam Reforming and partial oxidation of the MSW; gas cleanup and compression; Fischer-Tropsch conversion to alkanes; then hydro processing and purification.
Lee brings to Fulcrum a unique perspective on engineering, acquired from more than 30+ years of domestic and international experience in the chemical and energy industries. Lee has a B.S. in chemical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He holds an M.B.A. from the University of Tulsa and an M.A. in interdisciplinary studies from the University of Houston.
We look forward to seeing you there!
