Join us every second Thursday of the month to get to know your fellow process engineers. Attendance is free.
This month's PEP Talk, “Purity and Composition Issues in Chemical Manufacturing and Crude Oil Refining,” will be led by Warren M. Ewert, who has over 35 years of experience in Petroleum and Petrochemical R&D. Before retiring, he held many titles including Senior Fellow, and Chief technical advisor and mentor to the Phillips 66 Technology organization.
Warren will discuss the ways in which the purity and composition of raw materials and intermediates have a significant impact on the ability to deliver a quality product in chemical manufacturing and crude oil refining processes. He'll also touch on the importance of effective communication with decision makers who are responsible for delivering those raw materials and intermediates to the process.
This presentation will highlight a number of examples from the presenter’s work experience. Warren's Talk will be followed by a lively Q&A session with the audience.
