Making It
Tuesday, November 1, 2005 - 8:25am to 8:45am
Experiences and lessons from a life-long career in chemical engineering -- the challenges, the changes, and the lessons. From the perspective of the first female fellow to have two "fellow plaques" -- the old masculine version and the new politically correct version. I hang them over my "his-and her" towels!
From twenty-five years as a consultant in high hazard technological risk mangement at Arthur D. Little Inc. to my last ten years at MIT. Will talk about academia as well as consulting.
