The panelist will share learnings from 25 years of Dow Chemical Company experience with research partnerships. He will discuss best practices and mistakes to avoid. Examples will be drawn primarily from 3 types of partnerships: (1) company-sponsored research in universities and National Labs; (2) government-cofunded research consortia; (3) the Council for Chemical Research and its Chemical Industry Vision 2020 Technology Partnership.
