Papers are sought addressing how to design and operate physiochemical processes with characteristic dimensions from tens of microns to a few centimeters. Possible contributions include novel applications of multiscale modeling, systematic methods for conceptual design as well as mathematical optimization of existing or new devices. Studies combining computer aided analysis or optimization with experimental verification are encouraged, but not required.
