Contributions are sought in the general area of dynamics and control of processes described by population balance equations. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, model identification, model reduction, experimental design, nonlinear control, and nonlinear analysis. All application areas involving population balance modeling are of interest including nanoparticle formation, solids flows, granulation processes, solution crystallization, emulsion and suspension polymerization, and thermal spray processing of nanostructured coatings.
