This session would discuss the university s role in society as an expanded one involving economic and social development, as well as teaching and research. Speakers are invited from departments within academia that currently provide entrepreneurial science perspectives and others who play an important role in developing successful scientific business ventures from academic seeds. These may include intellectual property, as well as technology transfer experts.
