Environmental transport processes govern the fate of chemicals in natural systems. Understanding these processes is important in the evaluation of remediation strategies and ecological risk assessment. Reports on laboratory and field scale investigations focusing on mathematical modeling and experimental investigation of environmental transport processes are solicited for this session. Possible topics include but are not limited to partitioning inter-well tracing, air-water mass transfer, surfactant and colloid effects, multimedia modeling, atmospheric dispersion of pollutants, and vadose zone transport and transformation.
