Biosensors are finding increasing importance in applications ranging from medical diagnostics to homeland security. This session will focus on new developments in biosensor technology, including new sensing schemes and new applications for existing sensors, as well as enabling technology for biosensor applications, such as MEMS and microfluidic technologies. Experimental work and modeling or simulation efforts are desired.
