This session seeks research and development effort in catalytic sensors and those for process control and chemical industry applications. Sensors for specific chemicals and for industrial safety or environmental monitoring are also relevant to this session. Assessment of the cost-benefit and technical challenges of these sensors in the industrial setting will be welcome. Papers on virtual sensors, such as the e-nose, are also invited.
