The diffusion of simple fluids modeled as Lennard Jones particles through nanochannel domains is examined by computer simulation and compared to classical transport theory and recently developed models. The wall boundary condition is found to violate the no slip condition assumed in macroscopic fluid flow. The complicated near wall transport properties are described and a new model for axial mobility is presented. Transient and steady state tranport are measured and discussed.
