(386d) Opportunities for Cyberinfrastructure Funding in Nsf's Engineering Directorate

The emergence of the web has fueled growth in many enterprise-wide applications. Consequently, collaborative science and engineering is expected to emerge as a new phenomenon for scientists and engineers. NSF plans to support engineering projects that provide computing and communication platforms that support the next generation of research and education in their respective fields. Projects that develop a platform for sharing experimental resources and data is an example of this funding opportunity.
