(565c) Tracing the Path to Success in Industrial Catalyst Development

Development and characterization of prototype CRI/Criterion catalysts for Ethylbenzene Dehydrogenation for the production of Styrene are conducted at the Westhollow Technology Center, Houston, TX. Fundamental Studies of these catalysts include the testing on isothermal reactors for screening of activity and selectivity. Winners will then be extensively tested under normal plant operation conditions using an adiabatic pilot plant.
