This session will showcase programs in academia that provide education and training, at the undergraduate and/or graduate level, to prepare students for the biotech industry. Instructors are invited to share information about including biotech concepts in core courses or their biotechnology training programs, such as co-ops, undergraduate independent research labs, and industry project courses. Members of the biotech industry are invited to share their experiences on working with universities in such programs, what they are looking for in new hires, and their opinion on industry-readiness of new graduates. Students planning on entering the industry are encouraged to bring their resumes.
