Colloidal and interfacial phenomena (aggregation, deposition, adsorption, and reactivity) play important roles in water treatment processes (conventional, membrane filtration, reverse osmosis, and advanced oxidation) as well as natural water quality (pathogen transport, remediation, and colloid-facilitated transport). Both fundamental and applied contributions are sought in the area of colloidal and interfacial phenomena in aquatic systems
