(105a) National and International Developments Impacting Us Industry

This presentation will provide a summary and discussion regarding national and international regulatory developments addressing environmental releases of products and byproducts from the manufacture and use of engineered nanostructures. The presenters will address the regulatory approach currently being considered by the United States Environmental Protection Agency for nanomaterials as well as the statutory and regulatory authority EPA may have currently available to it within the existing environmental statutes to control such releases. The presenters will also summarize international regulatory developments as they may impact US businesses.
